Over 50 young men from Clearview Elementary School (CES) received a piece of apparel to add to their wardrobe – a three piece suit – in front of family, fathers, grandfathers, and staff. The third, fourth, and fifth grade students are a part of a weekly empowerment group sponsored by William Cofield, CES Behavior Specialist.
“The boys empowerment group started because one of the young men came to me and asked me to mentor him. That one student has now turned into almost 60. Each Wednesday, we wear our uniform of khaki pants, white button-down shirt, and a red or blue bowtie.”
