In one month the hallways of Troup County’s newest school, Callaway Elementary, will be filled with students and teachers ready to begin the new year. Before that happens, though, the community is invited to celebrate the opening with a dedication scheduled for Sunday, July 20th at 3:00 p.m. |

The Troup County Board of Education named Sylvia C. Hooker, an educator of state and national merit, to the position of assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. Ms. Hooker, currently the director of professional learning and leader development with Coweta County Schools, brings a wealth of experience in education with proven results in academic growth. |
