Paraprofessional certificates are renewed every 5 years. You must have a total of 100 credit hours for renewal.

Online courses for PLU credit are available at no cost to paraprofessionals employed by the Troup County School System. In order to participate, you must have a user name and password. You are not automatically enrolled in the online courses. You must submit a new registration form at the beginning of each year. You are also required to fill out an Evaluation and Reflection form at the end of each year. Click here for the form.

Courses must be completed and the registration and evaluation forms received in the technology department by May 16, 2010 to receive credit for the 2009-2010 school year.

NOTE:  You are not required to complete the Knowledge and Application questions at the end of each course, but you ARE REQUIRED to pass the multiple-choice test.
