I have taught in Troup County Schools for 27 years in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences.I currently teach the Foods and Nutrition Pathway. The courses include: Foods, Nutrition, Wellnes .Food For Life, and Food Science.

The end of Pathway assessment is the ServSafe Test which will allow students to work in areas of Human Service that requires training in food safety.. 

I am also the Junior Class sponsor responsible for the prom.

 

I attended Berry College in Rome Georgia where I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Home Economics Education. I also received a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Education Specialist degree in Curiculum and Instruction at Berry College. I later attended Auburn University where I earned a Education Specialists degree in K-12 Administration. I began teaching in Hogansville City High School and moved to Callaway High School when we opened the school in 1995/96. This year is my 28th year teaching here in Troup county in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences.
