The Clearview Elementary Wolves enjoyed an exciting and educational presentation last week by Christian Carter of Barn Hill Preserve in Ethel, Louisiana. The focus of the presentation was "conservation through education" and the students were encouraged to get involved with conservation efforts. The students were able to observe and learn lots about the characteristics and habitats of a two-toed sloth, a silky chicken, a woolly opossum and a bearded dragon.

09/04/19: Kobe Hudson Receives Outstanding Player Award Kobe Hudson

09/05/19: Hollis Hand Elementary Students Celebrate Good Behavior Keshun Freeman

Hollis Hand Elementary students celebrated their good behavior with prize drawings, teachers dancing, and former Troup County School System graduate KeShun Freeman giving some words of encouragement to the elementary students.

Freeman has been known to share a great message with kids across Troup County, “It’s important to me to encourage kids to do well in school and be responsible citizens. They can really be an inspiration to others. There is so much to life and they have the potential for growth to be what they aspire to when they grow up.”

A Callaway High graduate, Freeman received two degrees from Georgia Tech while also playing football. He aspires to go into the medical field one day, but for now a potential acting gig in Hollywood and being a community leader is calling his name.
