Principal's Message

Chris Williams

Students, parents, staff, and community partners...welcome back to school! We have endured a tough separation from our students and are truly happy to have our students back on campus! It was a much too long break...

I had the pleasure of speaking with several new and returning THINCsters the first day of school. My message to them was' "We are SO glad that y'all are back! It is boring here without you!"   Overwhelmingly, the response I received from the students was that they were also happy to be back at school! yes

As we completed the first week of school, my colleagues at Callaway, LaGrange, Troup, and the new Troup County Career Center shared in my assessment that this year began very smoothly with our students presenting themselves as the great young adults that they are. Students have adjusted quickly to the 'new normal' of wearing face coverings. So, thank you to all students (and parents) for making the start of the school year a success!

We hope that the great minds in our country will solve the present crisis and help us all to return to the old normal soon...especially for our SENIORS that deserve to have their most awesome year in high school.

Best wishes to everyone for the year ahead...
