360 Writing Framework and Pacing Guidance

We will continue to use the 360 Writing Frameworks in the Troup County School System this year.

The 360 Writing Framework introduces the writing genres in the following order:

1st nine weeks - Opinion / Argumentative 

2nd nine weeks - Informational / Expository

3rd nine weeks - Narrative 

For the 2024-2025 school year, teachers are highly encouraged to follow the 360 writing order.

In some cases, this might contradict the pacing guide. With new standards being implemented next year, adjustments were not made to the pacing guides for this year.
