SEL SUPPORT SERVICES
TCSS has a total of 27 school counselors and 6 social workers who work collaboratively to meet the mental health needs of our students. A school counselor, social worker, and school-based therapist is assigned to every school.
Comprehensive counseling services are delivered through classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual sessions. Topics include education/career planning, goal-setting, cultural awareness, personal well-being, character education, grief/loss, and other age appropriate matters.
Students who are in need of more intense counseling services may be referred to an outside agency or may take advantage of seeing one of our school-based therapists.
