New Graduation Schedule

LaGrange, Ga. July 7, 2026 — As we look ahead to celebrating the achievements and dedication of our upcoming graduates, the Troup County School System wants to announce an updated schedule for our high school graduation ceremonies. 

Beginning with the Class of 2027, all three high school graduation ceremonies will take place over a day and a half, rather than being spread out across three separate days as in the past. Hosting graduations over three separate days places logistical and operational limitations on support staff, security teams, and community resources. Condensing the schedule helps ensure a safer, better experience for every graduation.  

We are sharing this information now to ensure all of our families have enough time to plan ahead.  

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming 2027 ceremonies, which will all be hosted at Callaway Stadium:

Thursday, May 27, 2027	Callaway High School	5:30 PM
Friday, May 28, 2027	LaGrange High School	8:30 AM
Friday, May 28, 2027	Troup High School	5:30 PM

 

The principal of each high school will communicate directly with students, staff, and families ahead of time regarding specific policies and procedures, including:

• Graduation practice times and schedules
• Dress code requirements
• Inclement weather procedures
• Ticket distribution
