TCSS Graduation Rate Rises Again to 94.5%

District Build on Last Year's Historic Milestone with Further Gains Across High Schools

The Troup County School System (TCSS) is proud to announce another year of growth in its four-year graduation rate, reaching 94.5% for the 2026 academic year. Building on last year’s historic milestone of 93.5%, the district climbed over a full percentage point to continue its upward momentum.

This continued success reflects the shared vision and dedication of students, teachers, staff, families, and community partners who support TCSS students every step of the way. The achievement highlights the district’s ongoing mission: Our Schools, Our Community, Our Future.

"Reaching 93.5% last year was a historic achievement for our district, and seeing our rate rise again to 94.5% proves that our growth isn't just a single moment—it's standard practice," said Dr. Rachel Hazel, TCSS Superintendent. "This accomplishment belongs to our entire community. It takes dedicated teachers, hardworking students, supportive staff, and parents and partners who believe in our mission and help create opportunities for our kids to thrive. We couldn’t be more proud of this progress and what it means for our students."

School-Level Results:

All three TCSS high schools maintained exceptional graduation rates above 94% for the 2026 school year:

  • Callaway High School (CHS): Achieved a 94.7% graduation rate.
  • LaGrange High School (LHS): Achieved a 94.2% graduation rate.
  • Troup High School (THS): Achieved a 96.0% graduation rate.

TCSS's 2026 four-year graduation rate is above the state graduation rate of 88.5%. TCSS continues to build on that strong foundation and remains focused on ensuring every student is prepared to graduate and move confidently into what comes next.
