To be eligible to attend the Pre-K program, a student must be 4 years old on/or before September 1, 2024. Students who register for Pre-K after March 29, 2024  will be placed on a waiting list.  

  • You must register your child for the school in the attendance zone in which you reside. 
  • Parents must present required documents AND submit an application through March 4-29, 2024 to be eligible for the Pre-K drawing. Applications and documents will be accepted at PRE-K office located at 100 North Davis Road, Building C, LaGrange, Georgia. 
  • Applications and documents received after 4:00 p.m. on March 29, 2024 will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they are received. 


The following documents are REQUIRED for registration:

  1. Certified birth certificate of the child or a passport
  2. Copy of the child's Social Security Card
  3. Valid photo ID of parent or guardian
  4. Proof of address, please provide ONE of the following:
  • property tax records which indicate the location of the residence,
  • property deed, mortgage documents or a security deed which indicates the location of the residence,
  • apartment or home lease or rent receipt indicating the current address,
  • current utility bill for electricity or utility application for electricity showing the current address,
  • current telephone bill.

NOT ACCEPTABLE: Medicaid card, cable TV bill

If you receive any state or federal assistance, please provide a copy of one of your eligibility cards (PeachCare, SSI, Food Stamps, TANF, Medicaid). This is used for Pre-K funding purposes only.

If your child is ACCEPTED to the program you will be asked to provide the following documents to the Pre-K Office:
1. Georgia Immunization Form 3231
2. Georgia Eye, Ear, Dental Check Form 3300
