2024 "Be a Champion" United Way Campaign
TCSS Surpasses $50k Fundraising Goal, Exceeding 2023 Total!
We are thrilled to share that the Troup County School System has not only met its $50,000 fundraising goal but has exceeded it by raising an impressive $56,462.13 - a remarkable achievement that surpasses last year's total by nearly $4,000! All TCSS schools and departments participated in various United Way fundraising events. In the spirit of friendly competition, our top fundraiser was Franklin Forest Elementary School who raised over $11,000, a remarkable feat!
Partnering with United Way
Troup County School System partners with the United Way of West Georgia each year to raise funds, helping UW reach its annual goal. United Way uses the money to support and fund 23 unique agencies that focus on improving the community, from which our school families and staff may benefit. TCSS runs its annual United Way campaign from October to December each year.
